The Office of the Chief Engineer provides engineering design, planning, construction, renovation, repair and maintenance services of existing infrastructure. We ensure water, electricity and gas supply etc. We provide services related to telecom, lift, air conditioning, PA system, beautification of BUET campus etc. This office also works on uninterrupted electricity supply through BUET power plant, provides project management service and development of all types of engineering projects within BUET campus.
To facilitate proper service, we have several wings, such as civil engineering wing, electrical engineering wing, power plant wing, telecom, lift, PA system and AC wing, administrative wing. A total of 324 employees including engineers, supervisors, masons, plumbers, carpenters, painters, welders, glaziers, electricians, pump drivers, generator operators, telephone operators, gardeners, cleaners etc. are working in this office.
To maintain the highest standards and best quality service is the core principle of our work. We remain dedicated to delivering engineering solutions that meet or exceed the expectations of our stakeholders. Our team is continually reviewing and improving our processes to ensure the quality and reliability of our services.
